Baptism

We are happy that you have chosen to have your child baptized with us here at St. Raphael. We hope this will be the beginning of a life-long commitment you and your child are making to God and the Church through Jesus Christ.  

The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated within the Mass on designated weekends.

Baptism is the gateway to sacramental life:  It makes us children of God, members of the Body of Christ, and members of the Church.   Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life.  (CCC, 1213)

In Baptism, we are forever marked as belonging to Christ, nothing, not even our own sin, can remove this mark. (CCC, 1272)

If this is your first child being baptized, you will need to attend a Parent Information Meeting for Baptism.
